Roger Bannister

(a) Roger Bannister was born on March 23, and is not 87 years of age. He is an athlete who runs and was the first to run a mile in 4 minutes. This was an extraordinary accomplishment at the time. He has several books written about him.

(b) When he was studying a profession, he only practiced 30 minutes a day! Since he had 30 minutes a day its amazing he accomplished so much. He was an neurologist and set a great record in running a mile in 4 minutes.

(c) Technology allowed him to probably spread the word of his great accomplishment. He could have seen on TV people running in competitions. This was a great accomplishment.

Computer Science Innovation
Brain Mapping

(a) YouTube was created in 2005, and was a way to upload videos to an audience to make money. At first there were three creators but later sold YouTube to Google. I and alot of others in the world use YouTube as if it were a TV.

(b) This has helped many when it comes to talking in public and even making friends. This also allows people to get out of their comfort zone.

(c)

(d) This was a great innovation that gave the world a way to communicate to an audience while getting paid. This innovation has helped many and continues to develop

Mikaele Oloa

(1) Mikaele Oloa is one out of three children from his parents Evelyn and Isitolo Oloa. As a young child, like some children, he loved dancing. When he was the age 15 he entered his first competition and was the youngest competitor. He won a title and manages to dance with four fire knives.

(2) This takes precision and repeated training. it takes determination because this style of dancing can harm you. This style requires fire! It takes someone very patient and hard working.

(3)Technology could have impacted him because he probably
was inspired  by others he saw on TV.
(4)

(5) I think this is a great accomplishment because this motivates me to always try m,y best and be determined to keep going even if I fail.

Computer Science Innovation: Cell Phones

(a) One computer science innovation I found is the development of phones. Mobil phones everywhere are improving. In Apple products, the newest iPhone does not have a headphone jack, but the headphones that were made are wireless.
(b) This will impact the world because as technology improves it changes lives. If phones improve just imagine how technology like operation tools and science will change. This will improve peoples health in a sense.
(c) Phone companies are trying to make everything wireless. I think this will solve a majority of phone problems. When a phone is wireless it will be more convenient to users everywhere. This will make charging the device easier.
(d) I think this innovation is great because wireless phones will be a better way of carrying your phone around because if it runs out of battery you don't need to worry about taking out wires.

Nathan Sawaya

(1)Nathan Sawaya is an award winning artist, whop does beautiful and different works of art. His style of art is amazing because it is called brick art. This was a way of making LEGO art. This type of art is both playful and beautiful.

(2) This must have taken so much time and effort because LEGO's are very small and hard to connect the different textures at the top. This must have taken alot of time because art work needs to be perfected. If he were to mess up one LEGO, he would have to restart. He even makes letters, and round shapes will rectangle LEGO's.

(3)Technology allowed him to sell his products and when he did, the website crashed! That just goes to show how amazing his works of art are. This is a big step in his life. Even though he had a great job being a lawyer, he still wanted to follow his dreams of becoming an artist and doing what he loves.

(5)This has inspired me to continue to do what

Computer Science Innovation

(a) Do you ever get frustrated because of all the wires and charges you've collect over the years? Are they just in the way? Well there is a new computer science innovation that will hopefully come into play and help device users all around the world.

(b) This will impact all phone users and make life way easier. I this this will come in handy with using less products. What I mean by that is, when you have a cluster of unwanted chargers and devices, they tend to get in the way.

(c) In this new idea, they want to refrain from using lithium-ion technology. They will do this to almost all hand held devices. Now you can see phones being charged wireless.

(d) I this this is a great innovation because doing this will help everyone. No more worrying about not being able to use your phone when an emergency occurs. This can help with easier transportation because you will not have the need to carry unwanted wires.

                                 Blown To Bits
                            Chapter 3

Giuliana Sgrena was a Italian journalist she was held hostage for a month and was released on march 4, 2005. She was hold captive, one of the Italian agents named Nicola Calipari helped her release case. After her release a huge dispute ensured why U.S soldiers shot innocent allies from the Iraq war in a car, the soldiers claim that the car was speeding and did not slow down after being warned by the soldiers the Italians denied both claims the U.S made. The U.S made a 45 page report on what happened the day of the incident. The report enraged the Italian officials right after the Italians right after released their report about what happened and their version differed the U.S in  crucial detail. The programs they used are advanced in today's society. The report used a software that created PDF files and included a "Highlighter Tool".

Alex Hattori

(1) Alex Hattori is an amazing at the yo-yo. He has won several competitions, and managed to get 2nd in some to! That is still a great accomplishment. He is now 17, and learned alot of his basic tricks through the Sunshine Kite Company yo-yo club. He mainly focuses on the level 3A.
(2) Alex Hattori got to where he is now because of hard work and dedication. Without this determination he wouldnt have gotten to where he is now.
(3) Technology may have helped him becasuse in order for him to learn he must have seen videos or even wating TV shows might have helped him.

(5) After watching a video, I now see why it is so excellent. Its takes precision, determination and pracice. Not everyone can take up something like this, that easily. I feel it must have taken years and years of practice to get as good as he is. Determination and hard work pays off, why? It gets him to where he is today, 1st- 3rd place is great! This takes years of persistance, and now look where he is.

"Blown to Bits" Chapter 2

~ In the chapter Naked in the Sunlight, I read something that was very tragic. On July 7th or 2005, There were suicide bombers who did four explosions. Sadly, 52 people died and 700 were seriously injured. Surveillance cameras did not record the terrorist act, but they were caught on camera. London did fortunately have cameras, which was useful. In the city of London it it said to have cameras everywhere. It is as if they are always being watched. Sometimes this can be a good thing, but when it comes to privacy this can be an issue. In today's society there is a lot of technology that it almost seems normal to be watched my cameras. There are always records on what you do and for example, how you spend your money. There is a wide variety on what information is kept about us. Devices are now smaller and portable, so technology is a necessity these days. In my opinion, after reading the article, I am not noticing how much we are being "watched". At times I think it is a good thing, but when it comes to privacy we all deserve out privacy. I feel if it is to protect us then it can be a good thing.

Computer Science Innovations

(a) One innovation I found interesting was robot technology used for surgeries! The growth of his technology has been progressing since the 1980s. Scientists are thinking of new ways of improving surgeries to make it easier on doctors.

(b) This innovaton will impact the whole world. Hospitals I feel will be easier to manage and it will help people all around the world with sicknesses and injuries. This is a great innovation that will be very helpful to everyone.

(c) This will solve probelms like death and staralized tools. I have seen videos on how they do this. The patient does seem concerned sometmes. But they feel relieved after, knowing they will have the best care.

(d) I personaly like this innovation becasue it will help the world and cause less deaths in the world. And this can also prevent diseases because of staralization of tools used. It is more accurate with surgery because it is programed not to mess up. Doctors always leave unwanted tools in patients, this would prevent that. I like this innovaton.

Carl & Margaret Karcher

(1) Carl and Margaret Karcher were the founders of Carls Jr. This is a multi-million resteraunt. Personal I love this resteraunt.

(2) With hard work and dedication they managed to become very successful. This all stated with a small hot dog cart. They had a strong faith in god and knew if they believed they would succeed.

(3) Technology could have helped because in order to spread their chain because of phones and printers and transportation. This was a great way to show everyone ther buisness.

(4)Image result for who are carl and margaret karcher

(5) I think with being spiritual comes great opportunities. I think their faith really helped and since they were determined and motivated to get their buisness big, they accomplished that.
