"Blown to Bits" Chapter 2

~ In the chapter Naked in the Sunlight, I read something that was very tragic. On July 7th or 2005, There were suicide bombers who did four explosions. Sadly, 52 people died and 700 were seriously injured. Surveillance cameras did not record the terrorist act, but they were caught on camera. London did fortunately have cameras, which was useful. In the city of London it it said to have cameras everywhere. It is as if they are always being watched. Sometimes this can be a good thing, but when it comes to privacy this can be an issue. In today's society there is a lot of technology that it almost seems normal to be watched my cameras. There are always records on what you do and for example, how you spend your money. There is a wide variety on what information is kept about us. Devices are now smaller and portable, so technology is a necessity these days. In my opinion, after reading the article, I am not noticing how much we are being "watched". At times I think it is a good thing, but when it comes to privacy we all deserve out privacy. I feel if it is to protect us then it can be a good thing.
